  Comment: Homonymy with mollusk (TSN 78522) and tunicate names (all had been named Tethyidae) addressed in Opinion 1182 of the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature (1981), in vol. 38, part 3, pages 174-177 ("Tethyidae in Mollusca, Porifera and Tunicata: removal of homonymy").
