  Comment: Anthophora candida Pérez, 1879 is a primary junior homonym of Anthophora candida Smith, 1879 (now Amegilla candida (Smith, 1879)). It was apparently later emended to "candens" (by Dalla Torre (1896)?), and is now recognized as Amegilla candens (Pérez, 1879), though the Dalla Torre name may be a replacement name instead (and thus attributable to that author & work)
