  Comment: Spelling Rhipogonaceae should be considered an unnecessary emendation of Ripogonaceae, as either Rhipogonum or Ripogonum can be considered accurate transliterations from the Greek and, according to the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants art. 60.1, the original spelling has priority except in cases of error
