  Comment: Cimicifuga simplex (DC.) Wormsk. ex Turcz. should be treated in genus Actaea, as genus Cimicifuga was placed in synonymy under genus Actaea by Compton, Culham and Jury (1998) and that synonymy has been upheld by more recent research on Chinese species (Luo et al., 2016) but the combination 'Actaea simplex' has not been published
