  Comment: George (Buz) Wilson (personal communication, September 2003) notes that "Protallocoxidae is a junior synonym of the Stenetriidae." Martin & Davis (2003) use superfamilies in Asellota, though Wilson comments "If you are doing a classification of the Asellota, I recommend avoiding the use of the superfamily category because these are currently not that useful and do not circumscribe phylogenetic clades"
