  Comment: Wagner et al (Fl. Hawaii 2: 1352. 1990) accepted Pleomele auwahiensis H. St. John (1985) and cited P. rockii H. St. John (1985) as its synonym, giving P. auwahiensis priority (Vienna Code Art. 11.5). Thus the combination Dracaena rockii (H. St. John) Jankalski, with P. auwahiensis cited as its synonym, is incorrect. The correct combination has not yet been published
