  Comment: LSID urn:lsid:marinespecies.org:taxname:529255 associated with the scientific name Holothuria glaberrima Risso, 1826 acquired on 15 October, 2015  
    Holothuria glaberrima Risso, '1826' 1827:289 is a senior primary homonym of the accepted species Holothuria glaberrima Selenka, 1867:328. Although some have considered the earlier name a 'nomen dubium' the later name would still be permanently invalid per ICZN Art. 57.2 (but see caveats in that Article http://www.nhm.ac.uk/hosted-sites/iczn/code/index.jsp?article=57&nfv= ). Risso's name was proposed to be suppressed for the purposes of both Priority and Homonymy by Clark & Rowe (1982:31), but there is no evidence this was ever carried out
