  Comment: Although Kay (1979) uses Fusinus sandwicensis (Sowerby, 1880) as valid, and lists "Fusinus undatus (Gmelin)" in synonymy, Gmelin's name is from 1791, and therefore is senior. Higo et al. (2000) lists undatus as valid, with sandwicensis as a synonym
