 Comments

Comment: Acartia lillgeborgii Giesbrecht, 1889 is spelled as such in the original description. In 1893 Giesbrecht spelled the specific epithet as lilljeborgii and this spelling has been adopted in the literature. According to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature's Article 33.3.1, "when an incorrect subsequent spelling is in prevailing usage and is attributed to the publication of the original spelling, the subsequent spelling is deemed to be the correct origial spelling"
