  Comment: LSID urn:lsid:marinespecies.org:taxname:123466 associated with the scientific name Paelopatides Théel, 1886 acquired on 15 October, 2015  
    Miller et al. (2017:125) suggest that a number of genera traditionally included in the Synallactidae (including Bathyplotes and Paelopatides) be moved to Stichopodidae. Since it appears that Synallactidae needs revision beyond using subfamilies, ITIS has not moved these genera yet, pending further published research on this matter
