  Comment: The entry in Poole (1996:702) is in error. Oberthür used the name "Mac Dunnoughi" (not "mcdunnoughi"), which is mandatorally corrected to "macdunnoughi", and dos Passos (1964) used the name "mcdonnoughi" (sic!) as a synonym "form" in his list (p.19), and "macdunnoughi" in his index (p.128). This was clearly an error rather than an intentional emendation, but in any case is is inappropriate to attribute "Pyrgus macdunnoughi" to dos Passos as an error (it is correct) or an emendation (it is the correct original spelling per ICZN).
