  Comment: Cutler & Cutler (1986:568) state that Nephasoma prioki (Sluiter, 1881) "now becomes a junior synonym of T. nigra," without noting that it is in fact senior to Thysanocardia nigra (Ikeda, 1904). This priority issue appears not to have been addressed in the literature, and the name is not even mentioned in Cutler (1984)
