  Comment: Tentatively synonymized according to the placement of the type species, Phascolosoma reuppellii Grübe 1868, which is listed as incertae sedis by Cutler (1994:383), and "probably" referrable to Phascolosoma scolops, though the type is lost (Cutler & Cutler 1993:181). In that same work (p.176), Cutler & Cutler synonymize P. (Rueppellisoma) under P. (Antillesoma) based on the original description, rather than according to their placement of the type species
