 Comments

Comment: The original description was in an online-only feature supplement from J. Mammalogy vol. 94, no. 4. That issue was published in hardcopy (without the online-only supplement) in mid-August 2014. However, the ZooBank registration (viewed 20 Aug 2014) for Moratelli & Wilson (2014) did not specify 'an organization other than the publisher that is intended to permanently archive the work' (required under ICZN Art. 8.5.3.1, as amended in 2012, for electronic publication), so the new name therein remained unavailable. It became nomenclaturally available on 11 August 2015 when online copies were submitted to the CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, and Portico online archives
