 Comments

Comment: James A. Blake notes in a footnote on p. 347 of Taxonomic Atlas of the Benthic Fauna of the Santa Maria Basin and the Western Santa Barbara Channel, vol. 6, pt. 3 (1996), "Dr. Mary E. Petersen (in litt.) has informed me that Cirratulus borealis Lamark, 1818 is distinct from Lumbricus cirratus O.F. Müller, 1776, and not, as indicated by Hartman (1959), a junior synonym of it."
