 Comments

Comment: Edgecombe (2003:11) was unable to make a subgeneric assignment for his new species, and raised doubts about the subgeneric assignment for Paralamyctes chilensis (Gervais 1847), previously placed in P. (Nothofagobius) = P. (Edgecombegdus), but perhaps better placed in P. (Thingathinga) or P. (Haasiella). Hollington & Edgecombe (2004:25) listed both species under 'Paralamycetes subgen. undet.'
