  Comment: 'In view of the probability of the type-specimens of P. gaimardi having been lost, and the consequent impossibility of disproving Graff's conclusion regarding the synonymy of this species with P. pellucida, it seems convenient to regard the two species as being identical' (Prudhoe, 1950, p. 711)
