  Comment: Etymology of 'pullus' (pp.100-101, plate 55, fig. 2) was not explicitly given. On the one hand, the specimen was described as 'small,' so perhaps it was a Latin noun in apposition (pullus meaning small animal, especially fowl); on the other hand, it was also described as dark in some ways ('epidermis very dark olicaveous, wrinkled; within chocolate purple'), so perhaps it was adjectival (pullus meaning dark-colored, blackish, grayish-black). If it is truly in doubt, it must be treated as a noun in apposition, per ICZN Art. 31.2.2
