  Comment: Following Olson and Reveal (2009), the correct name of the Pine Warbler should be Dendroica pinus (Linnaeus) and not D. pinus (Wilson). Wilson is interpreted to be the first reviser of Certhia pinus Linnaeus 1766 (restricting the application of the name), rather than having created a new name, Sylvia pinus
