  Comment: Andrena abbreviata osychniuki Warncke, 1973 was published without a description. It honors Mrs. Osychniuk, so the correct epithet formation is osychniukae. Osychniuk published the first description of the taxon in 1977, which may be considered to have made the name available; however, Blank and Krause (1994) disagree and consider the 1973 name to be available, because it was accompanied by a bibliographic reference and because accepting Andrena osychniukae Osytshnjuk, 1997 means the person honored by the name is the author of the name
