    Original description/citation, per Durden & Musser (1994): 'Pallas, 1767. Spicilegia Zool. 2: 32.'  
    According to Article 32.5.2.3 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (Ride et al., 1999), "in a compound species-group name published as words united by an apostrophe or a hyphen, the words are to be united without a hyphen." This case does not fall under the only exception (Art. 32.5.2.4.3), so it is to be so corrected
