  Comment: The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature (1998; Opinion 1903) conserved the spelling Umbellula Cuvier, 1797 over the incorrect original spelling Ombellula Cuvier, 1797. The family name must reflect this, as well. Additionally, the family-group name's priority is from the rejected name Umbellulariidae Gray 1840
