  Comment: According to Christiansen & Janssens (in litt., June 2007), the type material ("So far as I know the type specimens have never been located") and description & figure of Hypogastrura albamaculata Scott (1960) make it impossible to determine what this is. Prior treatments (valid in Schoetella, or synonymy under Xenylla pallescens) were tentative, at best, and for the moment it may make the best sense to treat this as a species dubia
