 Comments

Comment: Sometimes dated to Bagnall (1913:197) or Newport (1845:373), but the first available use of a family group name based on Scolopendrella Gervais 1844 is subfamily Scolopendrellinae Newport (1844:276), which according to S. Raphael (Biol. J. Linn. Soc. 1970 2:61-76) was published by 6 November 1844
