  Comment: Originally published as Aphideita Weise (1893:106), and corrected to Aphidecta by Weise (1899:375), the emended spelling is universally accepted in the modern literature, and likely qualifies as as being in prevailing usage under the ICZN, in which case Aphideita is an 'incorrect original spelling' and Aphidecta is a justified emendation
