Gray est fait avec beaucoup de savoir et d'équité, nous le prions de vérifier quelques genres nouveaux et entre autres: .... Moi-meme j'ai divisé les Hirondelles en 1837 (Compl., t. VIII, pag. 489) en vrais Martinets, Apus; en Palestres, Palestre; Pallène, Pallene; Hirondelle, Hirundo; Biblis, Biblis; Hersé, Herse, et Cecropis, Boié'  
    Type by subsequent designation, Hirundo riparia, Linnaeus, 1758. See Gray (1841, p. 11)
