    'It is a source of regret that on narrowly legalistic bases the time-honored name F. squarrosa (R.B.N.) Dumort. was supplanted by F. ericoides by Grolle[...]. The latter name has scarcely been adodpted by anyone heretofore, while F. squarrosa has been used consistently for the plant here described since at least the time of Spruce (1884-85) - thus for over a century' (Schuster, 1992)
