  Comment: Annandale's (1916) original grouping of the genera Chitaspis, Loxosomatoides, Myosoma, and Urnatella in the family Urnatellidae Annandale, 1915 has been determined to be a polyphyletic grouping by later authors. Although not in current use, Urnatellidae apparently has priority over Barentsiidae Emschermann (1972). However, under a "prevailing usage" clause of the ICZN (Art. 35.5, "Precedence for names in use at higher rank"), Urnatellidae "is not to displace the younger" Barentsiidae
