  Comment: The spelling "Callaeidae" is used by Amadon in vol. 15 of the "Peters" Check-list of Birds of the World (Mayr & Greenway Jr., eds., 1962), with a footnote syaing it is the "conventional" spelling, "even though Callaeatidae may be a more correct spelling, if the stem of Callaeas is taken to be Callaeat-." Later works use Callaeatidae, however
