  Comment: Galeomma and the type species G. turtoni have been widely mis-attributed to Sowerby (in Turton), 1825 (e.g., Vaught, 1989). Several authors have recently made it quite clear that under the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature the names must be attributed to Turton alone
