  Comment: Faubel (1983) erected the genus Notocomplana and included the type species of genus Pucelis Marcus, 1947 and genus Freemania Hyman, 1953. 'If the two latter species be accepted as congeners of N. humilis, then the name Notocomplana has no validity, according to Article 23 of the ICZN (Prudhoe, 1989)
