  Comment: Previously (and wrongly) attributed to Tuxen, Hesperentominae must be attributed to Price (1960) who coined the family-group name Hesperentomidae, following the ICZN's Principle of Coordination (Art. 36). Tuxen treated Price's name as a subfamily, rather than coining a new family-group nominal taxon
