  Comment: Hubbardiidae was published by Cook (1899:249) when it was realized that the family Schizonotidae Thorell 1888 was based on a preoccupied (by Ratzeburg 1852) genus, Schizonotus Thorell. Cook's family name is senior to Schzomidae Hansen and Sorensen 1905
