  Comment: Rao and Clausen (1970) emended the spelling to Chaetonotida (TSN 57822) on account that the original spelling Chaetonotoidea "connotes a superfamily taxon within the meaning of Art. 29A of The international code of zoological nomenclature (1961 :29)"
