  Comment: According to IPNI (online, 1/2013), E.A. Howard published the nomen nudum as Dioon dohenyii; this was spelled 'dohenyi' by De Luca et al. (1981). The name appeared later in a CITES list (2001) as 'Dioon dohenyi'
