  Comment: Amphionides reynaudii (H. Milne Edwards, 1832) appears to be a larval form of an undetermined Caridean shrimp. De Grave et al. (2015) treat it as incertae sedis within Caridea pending future clarification of its identity, rather than accept family Amphionididae as an accepted neotenic, planktonic taxon
