 Comments

Comment: A pre-publication ('early view') paper coins the new family-group name Anuroctonidae, based on the genus Anuroctonus Pocock, 1893. As of August 8, 2023, the paper has not appeared in a finished volume, and it is not available electronically under the ICZN (lacks evidence that the work was registered in Zoobank). Thus the family name is not yet available under the Code, so it cannot be added to ITIS yet. This will be resolved after the name is validly published
