  Comment: Although Temereva (2009) did use the name (quoted) Actinotrocha californica for the larval form, it was clearly with reference to the adult form's name, Phoronopsis californica Hilton, 1930. No new names were made available in that work. When combined with the genus Actinotrocha (which was suppressed by the ICZN in Opinion 2373, in 2015), it should be given as Actinotrocha californica (Hilton, 1930)
