  Comment: Eschmeyer (personal communication, October 2004) is changing his treatment of Pterygotrigla acanthomoplate (Fowler, 1938) to "valid in Bovitrigla based on status of Bovitrigla in Richards & Jones 2002:278 [ref. 25990].
