  Comment: Mandatory correction for gender concordance; the genus name is masculine so the epithet should be aspergillus (Cutler 1994:232). Note that Cutler (along with other authors) incorrectly gives Quatrefages' original name as Loxosiphon aspergillus (the original was Loxosiphon aspergillum), although the original would have to be corrected if, as it seems, Loxosiphon is a masculine name
