  Comment: Originally published as S.[tylops] hammella, named for a Mr. A. H. Hamm, the name has appeared in the subsequent literature as S. hamella, S. hamellus, and S. hammellus. It is not clear whether eliding an -m- is permissible here, but since Stylops is treated as masculine, the name should have ended -ellus (diminutive, masculine)
