  Comment: Heterogonium C. Presl is a synonym of Tectaria Cav. (The Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group, 2016) but a new name will have to be published to accomodate Heterogonium pinnatum (Copel.) Holttum (basionym Stenosemia pinnata Copel.); the combination is already occupied by Tectaria pinnata (C. Chr.) R.M. Tryon & A.F. Tryon (basionym Camptodium pinnatum)
