  Comment: This name was apparently made available as a family group name in volume 18 of the Nouveau dictionaire, with cover date of 1803, on page 583, where the it is designated as a 'famille', it's characters are listed, and species of Pycnogonum are included. Its use in vol. 24 (title page dated 1804) on pages 131 & 137 rank it as an order, not a family (see other families given on those pages in comparison), and the index on p.74 refers to vol. 18 without ranks.
