  Comment: Nelson (2006) created the Dipnotetrapodomorpha to include the Onychodontida and Rhipidistia groups of Cloutier and Ahlberg (1996), thus replacing Dipnoi in Nelson (1994). We are following Ruggiero et al. 2015 and retaining Dipnoi as a class under superclass Sarcopterygii
