  Comment: Mulsant (1850:994) gave the name as Scymnus Waterhousii, and noted it was in honor of Mr. Waterhouse. Booth & Pope (1989:368) listed the original name and gave the new combination (and spelling) of Rhyzobius waterhousei, which appears to be an intentional emendation (International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (1999) Art. 33.2.1), and subsequent authors (e.g., Slipinski (2007), Tomaszewska (2010:229)) used the emended spelling. Incorrect latinizations must not be corrected under the ICZN (Art. 32.5.1), so the original spelling is correct
