  Comment: Lambert (1986) recommended that the name Diploperideris sitchaensis Brandt, 1935 be suppressed, on the grounds that the original specimen has apparently been lost and the specimen currently bearing the name is apparently mislabeled; he calls the specimen currently labeled Diploperideris sitchaensis 'a true Stichopus'
