  Comment: The name 'Diospyros crassiflorides' has never been validly published, but was used in a 2011 CITES Notification to the Parties. It may have been intended as a nom. nov. to replace the later homonym Diospyros crassiflora H. Perrier (non Hiern), but the actual replacement name published was in fact D. mcphersonii G.E.
