  Comment: Given by PycnoBase (2019) as 'Foxichilus pygmaeus Costa, 1836 (nomen dubium)', and noted as a 'species inquirendum'. Given by Costa (1838:10) as Foxichilus pigmaeus, although it was later also spelled 'pygmaeus', in the genus Foxichilus (an error for Phoxichilus Latreille 1804:137, whose type species is recognized in Pseudopallene Wilson, 1878). PycnoBase leaves Costa's species as a nomen dubium under Pantopoda
