  Comment: Amyot and Serville's (1843:375) use of the new combination Sinea multispinosa (which they attributed to De Geer) does not correspond to De Geer's species (which is now recognized as Acholla multispinosa (De Geer, 1773)), but rather to the current species Sinea diadema (Fabricius, 1776)
