  Comment: Although Ruggiero et al. (2015) used class Udeonychophora [Udeonycophora, sic.] and order Euonychophora [Euonycophora, sic.], more recent works (Brusca et al. 2016, Giribet & Edgecombe 2020) place the two families directly under Onychophora  
    As noted by Oliviera (2023:138), the name Onychophora has been broadly but wrongly attributed to Grube (1853), it should be attributed to Grube (1850), instead
